Heat transfer is a very high-resolution printing technique: the design is cut from a film and then heat-pressed onto the garment, giving exceptionally crisp edges. It is ideal for work that demands fine detail, such as small lettering — for example neck labels on crew-neck tees and polo shirts — as well as premium branded apparel and sports T-shirts. A wide range of film thicknesses is available, allowing flat prints, raised prints or various added textures.

Flat Heat Transfer

This is a very popular method because the results are sharp and sit smoothly and flush with the product. It suits a wide range of items — T-shirts, polo shirts, jackets, workshop shirts, sports shirts, tote bags and caps — and can be pressed onto both light and dark fabrics. It is highly flexible, stretching together with the fabric as though it were part of the material itself.

Raised Heat Transfer

For customers who want their logo to stand out, we recommend raised heat transfer. The design rises above the surface of the product with a thick, three-dimensional finish, and can be produced with either a matte or a glossy surface. It is best suited to outer areas that do not touch the body, and is therefore not recommended for size labels inside T-shirts or polo shirts.

Reflective Heat Transfer

Reflective film is cut into logos or lettering and pressed directly onto the garment. The result lies smooth and flush with the fabric, with none of the stitched seams of sewn-on reflective tape. It is ideal for applications that call for safety, or for an extra touch that makes clothing stand out — for example reflective text on safety shirts, workshop shirts and T-shirts, or reflective logos on jackets, running shirts and sports tees that may be worn at night.
